Our Vision

The Right Start is committed to raising awareness about Down syndrome
and giving affected children the best chances in life. We know with the
right start they can achieve the highest goals and become assets to their
communities. With the assistance of early intervention from a very young
age nothing is impossible for these children to achieve.
Our main goal is to build Australia’s first Down syndrome-specific centre
in the Macarthur region. The centre’s purpose would be to ensure
children receive all the therapies needed to give them the right start in
life. The centre will also accommodate families by providing weekly
support groups, information on each stage of their child’s life and the
provision of individual counselling if required.

The Right Start Foundation is committed to raising awareness about Down syndrome and giving our children the best opportunities in life. We know with early intervention they can achieve their highest goals, reach their dreams and lead rich and rewarding lives. They also can be integral and invaluable contributors to their communities. The Right Start Foundation’s core objective is to assist families and their children to “get the right start in life” through financial assistance and business partnerships - to receive all the therapies and support they need to reach their potential.
